Change.

I find that my sense of humour is fast going down the drain.

Feeling the need to get some nibbly tidbits, i went to the mama shop below my block on the way home. My bill came up to $9, so i gave the guy a 10 dollar note. He said "here's your change, a golden coin."
And as i walked out of the shop, i started chuckling silently to myself.

See?

Global Warming

The reason for Global Warming
I typed in the words 'Global Warming' on the Yahoo images search engine.
My first intention was to voice my thoughts on this pressing issue,
but then i came across this picture, and thought it would serve as an even better read/look.
Pleasant day to all!

Have a happy bus ride,friends.

Okay, so this is interesting. Its not that i've decided to move from lj to blogspot, no no not at all. I still love my lj to a large extent (inclusive of how under-used it currently is) and wouldn't dream of deleting it.
well. fine. here's the truth.

1. I might delete it if i even had the slightest clue how to. (the same applies for Friendster)
2. I believe we should all have a little fairplay in our lives and not be such selfish hearts. hence, blogspot 1 - livejournal 1.
3. I wouldn't dream of deleting it, who dreams of such mindless things? Such a miserable excuse for sleep.

So, this(burnyourpastry.b), if i do say so myself, will be something i turn to when all else fails and my creative juices kicks into autopilot.
Smashing, no?

Today, i was on the bus to Yishun Interchange for my 3rd round of tuition with an imp of a sec 1 boy who i am *shudders* feeling sudden waves of an emotion also known as fondness, beginning to take root in this burning soul of mine.
I'd consider it routine already, tuition i mean, not the growing of fondness bit thanks. You see, i am one who develops intuitive feelings fast be it positive or negative ones. Alas, this is a tale for another day.

So. I was on the bus at say 5.35pm, and it was semi-crowded fact being it was closing in to 'after-work' hours. Hot and bothered as i was from sitting at the sheltered bus stop at my place whilst awaiting for the damned bus to arrive which all in all took an appoximate 2.46minutes (all use of contradictory language purely intentional), i leapt onto the bus as soon as it came to a defeaning halt, and my hawk eyes immediately settled upon a vacant seat.
It was the ones where people sit in a row and pretend, i repeat - pretend. to space out and stare blankly at the facing row, but actually are very well aware of whats happening in front of them. In my case, not just whats happening directly in front of them/me, i'd easily say left right and wayyy to the back. Hmm it happens okay, first step is admitting you're guilty. Gotta love it!

For a lack of better sentence-starting words, i shall proceed to use 'well' once more.
Well, there i was sitting next to a boy from St Andrew's Secondary School, and i had no clue where he came from. He was in his school uniform and around the Ang Mo Kio area more SASS boys boarded the bus so yeah, beats me. But thats not the point! Anyway. I was sitting next to him, and me being Miss Inquisitive, i sneaked a peek at what he was doing with his handphone (Sony Ericsson la) and casually came across haha him reading through his inbox. It was all mainly from a person called Li-E__ for privacy sakes and some weird dude going by the name of Kalinka or something. After he was done with his task he set for himself, he went ahead to "Delete all Messages". So, it seems our topic of interest Mr. SASS boy still wearing a tie at 5.35pm ugly reebok shoes and shirt tucked in neatly enough, was sentimental. aww.

I thought nothing of it, except the word 'freak' flashed across my mind a couple of times, but that was about as far as it went regarding my thought on Mr. SASS.
But oh, it doesnt stop there.
After a couple more stops down the road, he instinctively whipped out his bible from his front compartment of his school bag (i like to think he does it everytime he passes by a designated bus stop, its more of a laugh that way) and started reading it. The gospel of Matthew in case you busybodies would just so love to know.
People, dont get me wrong, i positively adore the Catholic religion, myself being part of it too. But seriously, I would not read a bible anywhere else then in church or in the sanctury of my 4 walls called home. I dont know about you, but I for one would not. Thats just odd. Not freaky or alien or anything, but just..odd.
And yet again my powers of linking things kicked in, leading me to self-conclude that reading the bible made him into an instantaneous very-good-person.

You see, there was a maid and little girl who boarded the bus whilst he was still fervently devouring the words on the pages and the bus still being semi-crowded, and 8 seconds later, he literally leapt out of his seat to (get ready for this one) tell the maid to, i quote,

"Inform that little girl that her front pocket is not closed properly!"

There i was, mouth agape, staring not-so-blankly from Mr SASS to maid to little girl, his words being highly highly HIGHLY difficult to process.
And as far as my vision though not perfect could tell, screw it if im wrong, there was a single pack of tissue paper in it. Not even the new unopened ones okay, it was the rubbish types which even me, a tissue paper lover, would discard of due to its unsightliness.

I conclude from this shell-shocking experience on an SMRT bus from Serangoon to Yishun:
1. Boys (though we wish they all were) can be sentimental. HAHAH.
2. Look what wearing a tie and ugly reebok shoes does to you.
3. Bibles are good, i support them.
4. But not when it leads to over-reactions. Major, over-reactions.

... in my mind, "YOU FUCKING FREAK" flashed. over and over again.

A pleasant evening one and all.
